Stew Pot

The food they ate made them mutate, guzzled and gorged, till they were sated. Food mouldering past sell by dates, re-entering the food chain by the back door or drain.  Add chemicals: hasten the growth, accelerate the disease. Larger crops, more profits. Fed foods they desired, a desire created by marketing. Digestive pills dispensed, sewage systems discharged: fat bergs exploded, fat beings imploded. The stench of corrupted food cycles.

What goes in, what comes out? The stewpot of alchemy. Flavours disguised, odours destroyed, spices distract the senses from the putrifying ingredients.

We feel that cannibalism is wrong – so don’t look at your plates and dishes.
