Hell is empty and all the devils are here

Hell is empty and all the devils are here

This triptych piece depicts the depths of the underworld, deep down through the circles of hell we final step into the arena where spectator can quickly become gladiator.

The famous quote by William Shakespeare which speaks to the inherent capacity for evil within humanity, suggesting that we ourselves are the true source of suffering and torment, not some external, supernatural force. Therefore, are we in hell or viewing the world events from our very own armchairs gracefully wishing the issues we face will disappear.
