Swamp of Indulgent Consequences

Consuming, devouring, desiring more and more. Overladen with goods and possessions the human race expands to overtake the earth. The earth groans under the weight of ‘things’ and eruptions occur. Climate changes, rains fall, heat intensifies and putrid swamps bubble with the pollutants caused by manufacturing processes.

This vicious cycle of visceral waste cannot be contained and man-made disasters merge from one to the next. Storms are named as if they are people and they are born of people’s lusts and envy for displays of wealth. Plagues fester and disease destroys. The vulnerable and weak, the poor and disenfranchised, are hurled as fodder to satisfy the jaws of consumption.
