Artist’s Statement
An alphabet book of modern day street characters from the city. These characters are grotesque but recognisable. The rhymes are bawdy, shocking, humorous and, as with other work, are inspired by Hogarth’s views, whilst also referring to contemporary street scenes of modern society.
